Kahdeidra holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in African and African American Studies from Stanford University, with a minor in Linguistics, and she has studied education leadership and reform at Teachers College, Columbia University. She earned two certifications as a New York City Teaching Fellow, completing a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) degree in Teaching Urban Adolescents with Disabilities, at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus.
Kahdeidra currently is pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Urban Education at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. Her accents are located somewhere in the space between Dahomey, the Kongo, Savannah, and Brooklyn, where she dances to the rhythm of soul speakers, delighting in diphthong and melody.

Dimonet Connect Publishing LLC aims to fulfill the mission of its founder, Kahdeidra Monét Martin-Thelusca, an author and educator whose passion for language and literacy extends beyond all boundaries. We are all connected, and Dimonet Connect Publishing provides a nurturing space for creative literary expression—a space where all languages are valued, and dialects and creoles are celebrated for being essential epistemological gems that reflect the core identity of their speakers.
